Orthogonal Rational Functions and Structured Matrices
The space of all proper rational functions with prescribed poles is considered. Given a set of points zi in the complex plane and the weights wi, we define the discrete inner product

متن کاملOn Some Orthogonal Functions Generalizing Jack Polynomials
The rational Cherednik algebra H is a certain algebra of differential-reflection operators attached to a complex reflection group W . Each irreducible representation S of W corresponds to a standard module M(λ) for H. This paper deals with the infinite family G(r, p, n) of complex reflection groups; our goal is to study the standard modules using a commutative subalgebra t of H discovered by Du...
متن کاملOrthogonal, Antiorthogonal and Self-Orthogonal Matrices and their Codes
Orthogonal matrices over arbitrary elds are de ned together with their non-square analogs, which are termed row-orthogonal matrices. Antiorthogonal and self-orthogonal square matrices are introduced together with their non-square analogs. The relationships of these matrices to such codes as self-dual codes and linear codes with complementary duals are given. These relationships are used to obta...
متن کاملSome p-Ranks Related to Orthogonal Spaces*
We determine the p-rank of the incidence matrix of hyperplanes of PG(n, pe) and points of a nondegenerate quadric. This yields new bounds for ovoids and the size of caps in finite orthogonal spaces. In particular, we show the nonexistence of ovoids in O10(2e), O10(3e), O9(5e), O12(5e) and O12(7e). We also give slightly weaker bounds for more general finite classical polar spaces. Another applic...
